always a bonus.I find that most dog food is not good enough for our best buds, so I like to give them a little punch of

healthy eating.

Try this and see if they're coats get shiny and they have more energy during play time.

One clove of garlic and 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt in a food processor or blender. add 1/2 cup nuts [almonds, walnuts etc.]

add 1/2 cup sunflower seeds and process till a fine powder. Add at least 1-2 cups of leftover vegetables 1 tablespoon olive

oil, 1/2 tablespoon fresh herbs and mix well. Serve mixed in with regular food and add a little more olive oil over top,

for a shiny coat of hair. This will give your best friend a healthy and long life, it might be good for you too!

So keep your yards clean for your pup and feed them well for a good, long, and happy life.

Dog Waste is NOT a good fertilizer by any means. More so, the exact opposite. That’s why your lawn gets yellowed and stained when you leave it. But, you can do something which is environmentally friendly with the waste. Which is build a dog waste composter, it may be slow, but it works. Also, your garbage people will appreciate it as well. I’m sure they are sick of it all over the place when they are dealing with your trash. Your lawn people, (or yourself) will appreciate it as well if it is picked up from the yard regularly. It’s awful stuff to step in and smell.

Here is a step by step on building a very inexpensive composter:

Buy or find a large garbage can and drill out about 20 holes in the side.

Cut the bottom of the barrel out.

Then dig out a hole the same height/depth for the garbage can.

Create some drainage by putting gravel in the bottom of the hole.

Have the garbage can sticking out just a little bit over ground level.

Put the lid back on.

Then when you accumulate some dog waste throw it in the hole with some septic starter and done!

If you are too busy to do it ask your local Pooper Scooping company for assistence.

Oh, YES! If it feels good to you, just think how wonderful it will feel to your loving and faithful friend. Dogs like there head and ears patted and rubbed, but why stop there, lets take it full bodied to ease those tired muscles and weary bones. After a good run, and lots of action, there’s nothing like having the person who you love most, giving you that extra bit of attention and care. It’s a wonderful bonding ex between you and your dog. It’s not difficult and only takes a few minutes of your time. I believe it extends all our to massage the body, relaxing the muscles, improving circulation, bonding with your dog and a restful stress free moment in both your lives. It really is calming to people to have an animal to care for and keep you company.

I find the best way to start is with the front feet. Pick both feet up in your hands and gently massage them in a circular motion, after a few moments, transfer to his head and smooth the face, going up to the ears. Rub the ears around the base and the ears themselves. Watch your dogs face for positive reactions. Some dogs like this and some may have sensitive ears and not like this, you have to be the judge. Go down the back massaging both sides of the spine, right to the base of the tail. I’ve never seen a dog who didn’t love to have his butt scratched just above his tail. Repeat, till one of you gets tired, and then give a rub to each leg, last but not least the back feet and don’t forget to tell him how much you just couldn’t do without him! Have a happy time and see how much you’ll feel relaxed too.

Please be sure to keep your backyards clean for your dog, free from parasites and diseases.

First things first, you should have trained your puppy how to sit before attempting the stay command. Fortunately, you can use this same technique to train them to sit as well. Use common sense, instead of holding your hand out to make him stay, you should push your pups rear end down to make him sit. All other things are basically the same. On to the stay training.

First, make sure your dog is focused. It is better to train your dog before they eat so they are very willing to do anything for a tasty treat. Have your dog start out in a sitting position, they will be less likely to move from the start. As you back away a little bit hold your hand out and say “stay” in a commanding voice. If they move start over immediately. Then when you are ready for them to move either use the same word like “come” or their name in an enthusiastic voice. As soon as they reach you praise them with a massage or a doggy treat. Just repeat this training twice a day for as long as it takes.

Be sure to be patient with your pup. Some will get it right away, and others will take a bit longer. But they are anxious to please you so they will eventually learn. This also creates a bigger bond between you and friend so it is a great thing to do. Also, feed your dog healthy treats and keep your yard clean to keep him free and you free from disease.

An easier way to train your pup is to make sure you train before they eat. They will concentrate more for the treats. Typically, they are less likely to focus if they have a full belly. Consistency is key. Be sure to use the same word everytime you want them to do a certain task. While you have their full attention, push there backside down into a sitting position while saying the word. When they are in the full sitting position immediate praise them or give them a treat to reinforce the action. This is call positive reinforcement. It is the most powerful tool to train just about anything.

Now, you must be patient with your pup. Some will get it quickly and some may take a bit longer.( probably depends on how hungry they are, Ha) Try to make time for this twice a day, they will pick it up and enjoy making you happy. Dogs really do thrive when they know they are pleasing you. With enough patience you can train your pup to do just about anything within reason. Treat your dog well and keep you yard clean for him and you will have a fantastic relationship with your new best friend. If you would like to see more article that are similar to this click here.

Consistency is key! You get an average of six times a day to correct and train your pup because that’s about how many times they need to relieve themselves. The correction part is quite simple. When you see them breaking the rules(during the act only!) just give a firm sounding “NO” to take them out of their moment. Immediately bringing them outside, while stating “outside” or whatever word you want to associate with it. But make sure everyone uses the same method and same word. Puppies will get confused very easy if everyone is trying to teach him/her a different way.

A very easy way to give your pup a jump start is to crate train. A big key is to find a crate that is not too big where as the dog can urinate of defacate in and still have room to lay down next to it. Pup’s will generally not go in a small area where they can’t lay down after the mess. When you let the pup out of the cage, take them outside where you want them to go and be sure to praise them heavily when they go. They will start to associate going in that area with praise, and dogs LOVE praise!

Be assured that pups will respond very well to positive reinforcement when done immediately, they learn quick. Another time that is obvious to let the pup out is after water or food. Their little belly’s are small and easily have pressure on their bladder with very little in their stomach, so head them for the door. Also, be sure to clean up the urine or waste extremely well and quickly if there is an indoor accident. You don’t want them associating that smell with indoors. Also, you want to keep the outside cleaned up as well. This helps with prevention on disease, your pup eating his own feces to “clean his area”, and for a multitude of other reasons.

Recognizing the problem and then getting the message out is most important in combating the problem. First, you should approach your HOA and make them aware of the problem. What I would suggest is flyer the neighborhood or put an ad in the HOA circular to make more aware. If you want to take it a step further, you could post signs to heighten awareness.

Another catalyst to solving the problem, is to hire a professional company to help keep the common areas clean of dog waste and they most likely will offer a group rate for a neighborhood to keep peoples back yards clean as well. They will clean up weekly at a reduced rate. Most HOA will just add it to the budget for the neighborhood, it’s usually quite affordable.

The seriousness of keeping your neighborhood and your own yard clean of dog poop is often unknown or overlooked. Not only can you and your family, children, husband or wife contract parasites and diseases, but you can pollute the waterways as well. Yes, from the runoff from your own back yard!!

Do the responsible thing and clean up. Everyone benefits! Dog waste removal for Greenville SC, Simpsonville SC, Mauldin SC, Taylors SC, Greer SC.

Dogs help you relieve stress. Take time out of your busy day to have fun and laugh. Laughter is the best medicine for all of us, and

it’s a proven fact that it helps us relax and unwind after a stressful day. It is proven that stress is a major catalyst to bring a

multitude of diseases and ailments from heart and health to mental fatigue and more.

Make time to walk, hug, play with and massage your pet. A good massage helps muscle ache, circulation and pain in arthritic

bones. Yes, dogs have all that we suffer with too, especially our older doggie pals. It’s great to plan social events around your dog,

like meeting up with another dog for a walk or a trip to the dog park. Encourage your dog to be sociable and friendly, it’s good for

him and you. Go out and make friends, enjoy the fresh air and be happy.

Also, make sure you keep the two of you healthy by a proper diet and exercise. Keep your yard clean of their leavings in the yard

There are a few frequently asked questions about dog treats, so here are some answers People often wonder if dog treats are good for dogs. The answer is some types. Look for treats with probiotics or the crunchy kind that promote dental health. Don’t over treat your dog, especially for no reason. Let him earn them. He will absolutely appreciate them more and also build a link between the two of you. Dogs love discipline and learning, it’s the way their brains are wired. Try to find smaller, low calorie treats to help manage your dogs weight.

What is the best dog treat? I have found that Dr. Fosters Lawnguard treats are the most beneficial for all parties involved. These treats have probiotics that help your dogs digestive tract and these treats are also formulated to help reduce the yellowing of your lawn from your pets waste. Sounds good to me!

Are rawhide treats good for my dog? Yes they can be, make sure you get a reputable brand. They can help your dogs dental as well as keep your pup entertained and away from chewing the wrong things(like slippers). Just watch, because they could stain your carpet.

Keep your dog healthy and your yard clean for you and your family.

Lets love our pets and try to feed them a brighter diet. When making your own veggies for Dinner, save some to put in your dogs food.

Things like, zucchine, carrots, celery and all kinds of greens and herbs too. They love sweet potatoes, and they’re good for you also. A

good home made soup with lots of veggies and rich broth is wonderful for older dogs who sometimes have a digestive problem. Do

drizzle a little olive oil over your pets food, for a shiny coat. It doesen’t hurt us either!

Another way to help keep our pets healthy, is to keep a clean backyard for them and you family to enjoy. Also, be weary of the
